Beignets are never glazed nor iced.
Hi Frank, Our Mardi Gras Beignets are a twist on the famous New Orleans King Cakes that are oh so popular during the Mardi Gras season. With our Classic New Orleans Beignets(no glaze here) as a base, a spread of sugary glaze then and a sprinkle of Purple, Green and Gold this recipe gives Swans Down (a New Orleans brand) an incredibly tasty Mardi Gras treat! Thanks for the feedback and happy baking!
